Rosso — Restaurant in Toyonaka

The restaurant interior was pretty nice and the menus looked good, but that is about it. The pasta sause was really sad, and especially the tomato sause version even looked surprisingly bad, even without considering the taste. Which tasted like store bought tomato pure with very few additions. It felt very flat and cheap. We would never order it again. On top of this the service was not that good either. I would only ever visit this place again if there were really no other options. I might even prefer a sandwich from the convenience store next door. But the food is edible and the place seems clean enough, so it's better than going hungry. So I will not give it 1 star for...

[edit] We are not sure why, but we think the quality of the pizza and wine decreased quite a lot recently, so we don’t feel like going anymore. The pizza dough tasted less and was a little raw, and soggy. Not highly recommended anymore :( [end edit] Very affordable, but incredible Italian restaurant. At lunch time, a pizza set costs around 1100 yen, with salad, drinks and deserts. For an additional 200 yen you get a full size pizza and unlimited bread. Had the 'pair course' for 4,280yen and it was easily enough food for the both of us. It was very delicious, the staff were attentive, and the owner even gave us a loaf of bread each for free (there's a bakery section) as we left.
