Visited after seeing this on Google maps. It's a friendly and quaint cafe with nice decorations on the main street. The owner was friendly and spoke English fluently and was able to translate even with attempts of broken Japanese. To my surprise, some locals were curious and started conversation and was genuinely surprised why I made a visit. The atmosphere was nice as people seemed to know each other. A nice change from the city. I ordered pancakes and a cold brew. Well-priced and the pancakes were fluffy and sweet. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the town. Arigatou Gozaimasu

豊岡では老舗の喫茶店。 しばらく閉まっていたけど、その間に改装したみたい。 以前のレトロで重厚な雰囲気からすっきりした感じになっていたけど、前の方が好きかな。 でも改装前に飾られていたインドらしき風景の絵画や大きな振り子時計は健在だったのは嬉しい。 ピザトーストとコーヒーをいただいたが変わらず美味しかった。 今度は新しくメニューに入ったらしいスパイシーカレーを食べてみよう。

親切で感じの良い店主さんです。 閉店間際だったのですが、少しなら大丈夫ですよと受け入れてくださいました。 特急の発車時刻まで1時間ほど待ち時間があり、他に空いてるお店も無かったのでとてもありがたかったです。 ゆったりとジャズが流れるなか、美味しい珈琲をいただきました。 時間があればホットケーキも食べたかったのですが、また豊岡に来る機会があれば再訪したいと思います。 とても居...
