シャロン — Restaurant in Uchiko

I kid you not This is for real the BEST katsu curry I’ve ever had For the price of a mere ¥900, you are able to delight your tastebuds with the perfect combination of flavour. Starting off with the top right corner, we have the salad. A strong opening with a fabulous dressing-enriched salad accompanied by some macaroni. Following which, to its left there is the tofu wombo-combo marinated in thick miso sauce, really gets the taste buds going. After that there’s some funky vegetables that I usually don’t enjoy, but once again Japan has made a previously disliked food an appetising one. Lastly we have the main dish. The creme de la creme. Piece de resistance. The curry flows smoothly over the crispy fried katsu. The mixture of the soft, warm steaming rice and the hard, crunchy outer layer of the katsu, alongside the savoury curry has amalgamated into what one can purely describe as heavenly. Thank you.

My family of three adults thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. They were super patient and friendly as we used our translator app to help us understand the menu which is all in Japanese.

We managed to communicate through their and our app that one of us is vegetarian, and they happily obliged.
