My wife and I had one of the best experiences we’ve ever had at this amazing place. We have been looking to get away from all the tourist traps in Kyoto, and traveled to Uji by bike to see what was out there. I stumbled on this place looking for ramen and found such lovely and kind owners willing to feed us as if we were family. We ordered karaage fried chicken and Shoyu Ramen and both were perfect! I cannot recommend this place enough. If you are in Uji and want some absolutely amazing food, service and conversation with local Japanese, this is the place. And my wife and I would love to give a huge thank you to the owners. They even shared some of their personal Japanese rice with us as a kindness. We hope to see you both again!
