Had such a lovely experience at this little restaurant next to the museum. We were worried at first because there's no real indication on the outside that there will be an English menu, and it's in an area that is not touristy at all. They were so incredibly welcoming, though. Not only did they have an English menu, they explained things to us and helped us open our ramune and made us feel like honored guests and not just some goobers off the street. The food was delicious amd beautifully presented, with lots of tea and water, too. Big recommend this spot and the cute little museum next door.

Relaxing cafe in the museum and opening onto a lively park with an interesting playground and beautiful colours at dusk.

The matcha soft serve is great! Also had their lunch sets which were tasty and reasonably priced. Please come support the museum...
