I stayed in Okinawa (Uruma-Shi) for five nights and dined in Izakaya for all nights. This is the best Izakaya I have tried in Uruma-Shi! Though there are no much choices to choose from, almost every dishes I ordered were in high quality and some even surprised me! Me and my family tried three not-so-good Izakaya in the first three nights of stay and were so happy to found Shoyotei! We loved the food so much that we went there again in the next night. The master was so generous that he even offered us a very delicious fried fish for free! And I mentioned to the staff that I like one of the fish sashimi they served the night before but I don’t know the name. I just described it was white fish with skin attached when served. I asked if they can serve the same fish. They ended up served us two kinds of white fish sashimi with skin which were absolutely fresh and delicious! Highly recommended the deep fried burdock, the best burdock(ゴボウ) I have ever tasted! Other recommendations, all kinds of sushi, and the noodle champlle (そうめんチャンプルー). The staff can communicate in basic English.
