Harvester Yakumo — Restaurant in Yakumo

A lovely location where there is ample space for people to eat their food, enjoy the view and also enjoy some chicken.

Unfortunately when we reached, we only had the fried and ethnic chicken left, the spring chicken was finished for the day. Fried chicken was left there for abit too long, chicken was dry and slightly cold which made it not very pleasant. Thankfully, the skin and seasoning sealed the deal. Ethnic chicken, don't overlook this piece of fried goodness, amazingly fried chicken with a sweet and sour sauce. Onion rings and potato wedges were the main highlights! Don't skip on the sides as they were amazing

Unfortunately, the journey down from noribestu to harvestor was quite the distance, while I would not do it again myself, if I'm on the way to Hakodate or around the area might be willing to pop...

Harvester Yakumo is just a short drive from the expressway or coast road. There is a wide variety of food on the menu, but people go for the fried chicken. It’s said that even Colonel Sanders once visited. There is pretty standard type fried chicken. I enjoyed the slightly poorly named “ethnic chicken” covered in sweet chili sauce. Indeed a memorable place to be in for a coffee break and fantastic photo opportunity. Superb scenic views of the blue lake and mountains from the balcony and restaurant. The restaurant has a wonderful vista and a warm ambience within the setting of well manicured greenery compound. Also its has a wonderful idea of refillable drinks and beverages and wood-fired pizzas. We like it so much we visited the place twice...
