Outstanding food at great prices for the high quality - some typical Japanese food, and some fusion, with a Spanish or Italian twist. The wafu pasta with porcini and Nagano mushrooms is outstanding. The veggie side dishes were also great. Friendly English speaking servers, a hard working couple cooking in the open kitchen give the place a good vibe and a personal touch. Food was as good as the music was terrible (and I'm not that picky for the latter). Most tracks were that weird genre where one music is overlaid with bird and waves noises which sounds really chaotic and makes it hard to relax for your average person. We asked for it to be lowered multiple times but it was brought back up pretty quick, assumedly for the staff's enjoyment more than for the patrons. Shame, would have given 4 or 5...
