A Hidden Gem with Heartfelt Hospitality
My family and I, a group of six adults, stumbled upon this place while searching for breakfast after our original plan to visit an orchard fell through. Google Maps showed that it was open and just a short drive away, so we decided to give it a try.
When we arrived, the owner informed us that there was an entrance fee. We were initially hesitant, but since our original plans had already fallen through, we decided to stay—and we’re so glad we did. The place felt like the owner’s home, with a warm and cozy atmosphere, though slightly smoky from the kitchen.
At first, the owner seemed a bit guarded, perhaps because he wasn’t used to having many tourists visit. However, as we settled in, the ice quickly broke, and we felt genuinely welcomed. Despite the language barrier, he did his best to communicate with us, even checking in to see if the heater was working fine. He later explained that every dish on the menu was made from scratch, entirely by himself, which meant that the wait time would be long.
As we enjoyed our meal, we couldn’t help but notice the exceptional quality of the vegetables. We speculated that they were either sourced from a nearby farm or even grown by the owner himself. The freshness and flavor added to the authenticity of the experience, making every bite feel truly special.
One thing to note is that because the owner runs everything by himself (at least in the morning—we weren’t sure about the afternoon and evening), the waiting time after ordering can be quite long. If you plan to visit, it’s best to come with 2–3 hours to spare and embrace the slow, thoughtful experience.
I'll leave a photo here, taken with my disposable film camera, which perfectly captures the rustic and quaint charm of this place. I hope it intrigues you enough to visit.
This ended up being one of the most memorable dining experiences we've had. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend stopping by—it’s not just a meal, but an experience worth savoring. Sometimes, it’s the unplanned moments that surprise...
