My review is both for dine-in and take-out as this is our Ramen place in all of Okinawa. My daughter refuses to go anywhere else and if you ask her for the best Ramen place, her only answer will be Hachiren. Place is located on the 3rd floor of the community building besides JA Yomitan. Their base is so porky and their charsiu pork is super delish. The all star ramen for me is enough but I also love their spicy version. You can add all the extra toppings you want too, like seaweed, egg, etc. I can barely finish their regular size so I am good with their portions😉 Yesterday my daughter was sick and her request was of course Hachiren. First time to do take-out as we always do dine in. Service is always great both lunch & dinnertime including this take out experience. We still prefer to be there the minute they open because they can get busy. Overall this place is worth trying, I can assure you you won’t get...

Quite possibly THE best tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen in Okinawa. Anyone who thinks otherwise has absolutely no clue! Be prepared to have to wait a while because this is a busy ramen shop!

Got a craving for tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen today. Was a bit disappointed because the photo on the menu didn't match the dish that I actually got. No egg, only one slice of paper thin braised pork chashu (compare the 2 photos!) and very sparse toppings of leek and bamboo shoots. If I known beforehand, I would have just ordered the desired toppings. That being said, what do you expect from a high traffic, high rent tourist trap struggling with inflationary pressures, staffed by 4 guys that's only open for a few hours per day? The taste was fantastic, though. I'm good for...
Read moreWe've only lived in Okinawa a short time but we quickly found our favorite Ramen restaurant! Hachiren Ramen is located in a cute community center, quietly tucked in a corner room of the third floor. They have a simple menu that has been kindly translated to English and their ordering machine also has an English option. We are always greeted with enthusiasm and seated quickly. The ramen comes piping hot to the table directly from the kitchen. The broth is creamy, the noodles perfectly al dente, and all the optional accoutrements add to the delicious meal. We ate there again today and I'll already thinking about when we...
