Sorry to say it that way but this restaurant doesn't deserve all those five stars ratings that I can see... Fresh fish from the grill, yes, but is it the only restaurant to propose fresh products from the sea ? In addition to that, you have your meal in the middle of a mess (old fishing nets, old stuffs....). No service, you must order and hold your tray yourself at the first floor. Salad is served in a plastic box, grilled fish was in a carton plate... everything goes to the container after lunch ! I do not comment on the over expensive price for all of that. I do not recommend it.

On our penultimate day of a weeks holiday we wanted something a bit more relaxed but also different. Catching the 22 bus from St Helier we had a great sightseeing trip to L’Etacq where, at the end of the route is Faulkner Fisheries. Having heard and read good things we decided to wait until the BBQ was hot and then have lunch. Well worth the wait ! Great lobster and scallops all washed down with Liberation Ale. No frills but great food and good service.

Visited here for first time with family, all the food (lobster, moules, crab etc) were 10/10 for both freshness and how they were cooked. However only thing that stops 5 stars is the ridiculous amount of single use plastics/metal containers used to serve the food, even more so for a place literally located next to the sea! Alternatives should be sought (bamboo, 'veg ware' etc) as it left a bitter feeling despite the tremendous food.

Very casual, outdoor dining experience. No indoor seating, hence only open when the sun is shining (check website or call prior to visiting). First, find an outfoor table, THEN choose from the fresh seafood menu which is either barbecued (between 12pm and 3pm daily) or served cold. Downside: the layout and set up is not good or efficient, with the (relatively small) barbecue (operated by one staff member) stuck against a wall at the entrance where diners are both trying to order and pay and collect condiments off a table.... this causes congestion and long delays with the food orders when busy (between 12pm & 3pm). Be prepared to wait, for both finding a table and...

Food was great and it really is an experience eating fresh seafood straight from the BBQ on the beach.

We tried the scallops and king prawns, fish of the day (mackerel) and BBQ halloumi.

I've only taken a star off because the staff were arguing amongst themselves quite a bit and when I went back to add something to my order one of the staff said to the other "I don't know why he's ordered twice". I don't think he realised I was still close by but it was a bit weird anyway....
