Watersplash Beach Bar & Diner — Restaurant in St. Peter

Everytime I come to Jersey I make sure to stop here. The food is great, I'm a vegetarian so it's cool to have a decent amount to choose from on the menu. The surroundings & location are quality, recommend getting there just as the tide comes in to see why its called Watersplash! Staff are really friendly and welcoming, it's good that they've got a couple of pool tables inside too & the beer is decent as well. There's just a nice vibe to the place that I really like, kids and families are welcome & the other customers are generally nice too so you can have a chat & laugh with the people at the next table quite easily. Great place to go when the sun is shining and the surfers are on the waves, good value food and drinks with friendly service. The reason why it's a bit run down is because the powers that be will not let them do it up even though other places along that stretch have been. I appreciate this is weird times we live in, but I was disappointed with my experience here today. A friend and I popped in for tea and cake after a busy day. As much as the seating was fast and covid friendly, we watched 2 other tables be seated and then served before we were. Despite trying to get waitress attention. Decided against cake as the selection was small and £6 a portion! Then our simple order was delivered in 3 parts, and the Danish fries were tepid.
