Café Firefly — Restaurant in Trinity

A visit today at Firefly , Susan one of the counter staff such a delightful young woman although a mask was worn I could tell she had a good smile underneath it you may find her at the icecream kiosk by the charity shop. Parents, if you have children please do not allow them to run around - people are carrying trays of hot drinks. ! In the past I have noticed children running across the cafeteria.I wouldn't like any children to be scalded in an avoidable incident, spoiling such a great day at the zoo. Visited cafe Firefly on a recent visit to Jersey. My husband had the home made chicken pie. It looked lovely when it arrived (should have taken a photo) with a large, 2in thick piece of puff pastry on top of the dish. Unfortunately, the pastry was so hard, he had to remove it from the pie in order to cut it. Even on the plate it was difficult to cut. Arrived early to collect my wife from visiting zoo. Thought I'd get a coffee while I waited. Walked into the cafe which is separate from zoo with my dog and lady from behind counter came out and asked me to leave. I said I only wanted a coffee to go but she said I had to leave as no dogs were allowed in the zoo. She insisted I leave. Not an animal friendly...
