Dahab Restaurant & Cafe — Restaurant in Amman

Perhaps for someone who enjoys shisha, this may be a good spot for you to wind down in the weekend or weekday evenings (or mornings or afternoons whenever) in Amman. As a non-smoker, this isn’t ideal. The indoor ground seatings and outdoors are smoking areas. Not sure about the upstairs. When I went it wasn’t busy so there seemed to only be service in the smoking/indoor ground. The service was average - not good nor bad. One would need to fetch them to get some service apart from ordering, which they do approach you. The menu seems extensive with Arabic and Western breakfast to Arab, Mexican, Italian and Asia menu sections.

Food tasted quite average. The falafel was slightly undercooked in the inside. There are several vegetarian options - mezze and non-mezze dishes. Same case for vegan and plant-based dishes albeit little main...

Upsides: The menu is very varied with many options and delicious options, I have ordered a drink with passion fruit which I really enjoyed.

Downside: Taking into consideration that they charge 5% for the service, it was very poor and infeasible; the Cafe was technically empty and still no one come to check on us, take orders, be available to call and take empty dishes. Compared to other competitors their service is always on point, you can always find someone available to call and the stuff is constantly checking on the table and asking if everything is okay. Also the Shisha (Lemon&Mint) wasn’t that good, I ordered a second one (Watermelon&Mint) and it was still...

I visited DAHAB restaurant yesterday. I've never been there before, I'm glad we ended up there because we didn't have reservations at another restaurant nearby.

Does level of service is above and beyond! The food was so good, honestly one of the best dolma I have tried even better than homemade delivery!

They have healthy fresh green juice and other choices. The presentation made it even better. I was expecting a hookah lounge but I didn't realize it's such a nice fusion of dining options and hookah. I'm not a fan of hookah but as all restaurants and pubs they allow smoking and hookah, but would great if they have better ventilation for those who...
