Shan - E - Punjab Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Gombato Bongwe ward

For the mid to high end price ranges, it was completely not worth it. We ordered the mushroom sauce, fish tikka and naan for dinner. The fish tikka was not fresh and we essentially left most of it, the mushroom sauce was comparatively better but still bland and the naan was alright at best as far as naan goes. The overall experience was what I would call "when you have few other choices" dining. As far as Punjabi cooking goes, the fare doesn't do justice to the flavour and tastes of the region. Diani itself doesn't have a large variety of choices when it comes to specific cuisines and perhaps being the (only?) Definitely inlove with Shan e Punjab, I love their murgh makhani with butter Naan,the lighting is authentic, faster and perfect service, I'm sorry to say this to mr. Jatinder singla I saw you come in on 29th and you couldn't adjust to the rules in the restaurant, you were rude to the waitress just because she couldn't allow you take your bottles of whiskey in the restaurant I bet that's why you are trying to tarnish the restaurants name. This place has lost its golden crown! Went there on Sunday night for dinner. It was quiet. Big tables which was nice. Service was slow. Chairs are really uncomfortable! That cushioning is dead! You’re sitting on wood

The food was terrible! The fish tasted AWFUL! The fishy smell was pungent but the chef had tried to reduce it by adding extra masalas which made it worse! Had to send it back to the kitchen. The garlic prawns masala was freaking chewy! The buttered naan was stretchy & the sweet & salty lassi tasted like expired milk! Couldn’t drink it

This place is probably focusing more on their supermarket & distributorship so is thus losing it at the restaurant!
