Artcaffé Restaurant TRM Mall — Restaurant in Nairobi

One thing I'll give to Art caffe ... Their croissants are perfect ... ... A little disappointed by the poor service yesterday..... I ordered chicken schnitzel..... The menu says it comes with mashed and steamed veggies, perfect .... I got chips and salad that was drowned in vinegar,couldn't even take it,when I asked my waiter she said they serve meals subject to availability... 🙄🙄,shouldn't she have told me that ? She just brought the food .... The only thing that says "subject to availability" on their menu is the steak...so I knew i would get what I ordered .... The service was terrible yet it wasn't busy ....when I signalled her to come she went and brought me the bill ...... Didn't bother to come and find out what I wanted , (I actually wanted a cappuccino,not my bill I even told her that , needless to say , I paid my bill and left , The chicken was okay the salad was bitter , the aioli was okay... Nothing to write home about The service was terrible 😔😞.. guess I'll just stick to takeaway croissants...

Had ☕ 🍩 n cappuccino something cake 🍰. For as little as 330+490 so yeah that was okay for such a place. The set-up is calm n you can actually enjoy your coffee ☕😊. Always go to the TRM branch but, I prefer the Garden City branch just because. Plus I always have the same order so I never go here for any main course meal, just a quick cup of ☕ and some snacks and I have to say the Dawa thing, especially the ginger-something something, I never catch the names but that's my order always. So, definitely would recommend that for a late evening after work quick bite. Plus they play nice soothing background music so that's a bonus plus there's always this one service lady that keeps smiling 😊 at me so I guess that's why I keep going back but overall nice spot to just hang and go over those emails before you get home 🏠. Oh, one thing is the wi-fi man, c'mon guys fix that, some of us actually take huge offense when the wi-fi is BAD so...

It's a beautiful restaurant with an open space concept. There are booths inside near the counter and more tables and chairs sitting on the kind of outer spacing. There's a wide selection from the menu which I felt was well priced. I ordered the shawarma and fries. The food was well spiced and salt and tasted really good 😋. I forgot to take pictures because I was so hungry. I also ordered a pineapple and mint drink. It had a snazzy name which I didn't take note of, but the drink was good and went well with the food. Service was good. We went there at lunch time so I think due to the common lunch rush the staff took quite a long time to bring the bill. That's the reason for the four stars in service. Also got a slice of salted caramel cake and it was amazing. Overall the experience was good and would definitely dine...
