BobaTea Pop — Restaurant in Nairobi

I ordered a Lotus boba drink. The drink itself was okay, but the boba pearls were not real boba – they were hard in the center. I couldn’t swallow them and spent the whole day spitting them out, which was very frustrating.

I also ordered a Nutella crepe and specifically asked for it to be only Nutella. When it arrived, it had chocolate and caramel sauces on top, and the taste was unpleasant. The crepe didn’t taste fresh either – it seemed like it had been made earlier and they just added sauces. On top of that, I got the crepe as takeaway, and they served it in an empty plastic cup that was meant for drinks, which felt messy and unprofessional. I really hope they improve the quality of their food. I’m sharing this feedback as advice for them to develop and improve.

Another issue was the cleanliness of the tables. No one was cleaning them, so I ended up cleaning my own table after I finished, so that the next customer wouldn’t have to deal with the same frustration I experienced.

The atmosphere was really adorable. Great place to hangout on your own or with friends or as a a couple. Drinks were tasty, especially if your a sweet tooth n if you cannot handle the sweetness, there are sugar levels available, I’d suggest avoiding the shakes though. Those can only be made with 100%sweetness.
