Funcity Gardens Utawala — Restaurant in Nairobi

Been there yesterday for my queen mom birthday party. We ate on the roof and personally I have to say the service could improve a lot they takes ages to bring the things we ordered. Firstly me and my queen we ordered some snacks and asked if fish fingers is available and waiter told yes but will takes 30min...that's sad you want something and they tell you this thing which could improve that. We ending ordering samosas which took us 15min to get them and 2 tusker ciders...we thought if they were making the ciders lol. The samosa was ok about flavor and meat seemed ok but the weren't crispy at all which should be. Then we ordered nyama mbuzi Choma which wasn't Choma was fry and dry and no too juicy at all which I didn't like it too much. Then chicken fried with tomatoes sauce and that was nice and tasty. We also ordered some sauté potatoes was really tasty and well done. Also some masala chips they were too spicy but good tasty in general. Then ugali that was cold and chapatis that was dry and no too well cooked we ordered the lunch took 1h 20min and then also flies comes over which could improve that because is quite annoying. The hygiene of the fork and quality was poor my hands was more clean to eat. Then we ordered ice which we thought they went to the hills for them ...took 2h to come the ice..apart of this the garden is nice and was feeling ok there with good view from the roof. Finally we could enjoy our cake mom birthday.

My thoughts they can improve about hygiene and services and then the place would be nice and no lies when there is not Choma BBQ and serving fried meat instead....

Funcity is one of the best open entertainment centers for family fun in utawala which is our neighbouring town. my family and I usually visit here frequently since the place is near, for those who lives in surroundings of utawala ,ruai ,embakasi , mihang'o n chokka. Their prices of Rides are affordable for everyone and you can try some delicious snacks here too and for kids as well. Along with the swimming pool, merry-go-round and because of its open area this place is more fun for the kids. This place is totally ♿ Accessible for people with different abilities with its accessible Washrooms and Ramps at the entrance. Although the parking lot sometimes becomes congested due to the crowd of guests, especially during festival season. It's indeed a fun city of Utawala 😊👌

Lunar pack, on the opposite side, is also amazing, where you take your kids for gaming, car and motorbikes rides, all you need is a card, for 100 bob, and a top-up of which ever amount you want the rest is fun fun fun. and on top floor bouncing Cassel and choma zone, the prices are pocket. This place is apparently a hidden gem despite the fact that it is usually packed with people especially on the weekends. It's a place to bring the whole family. From the entrance at the main road, on your left is a lunar park type area with lots of fun and exciting rides for all ages plus a baby pool and another bigger pool. The building in this area also has indoor games upstairs, a sitting area and a restaurant. They sell really good nyama choma. On the opposite side of this place is the building that houses a 4d cinema and other smaller shops on the ground floor, a club and restaurant on the first floor, a gaming arcade on the second floor and another restaurant on the third floor that has a live band playing and a large sitting area.
