Very rude staff, low quality service.

Reply to owner: The waitresses ignore you as you call out to them, there's one lady who I didn't get her name but even asked for the manager to report and another waitress just came and said she was the manager which was a blatant lie. First my nephew and his friends went and asked for a table they told us there I none available yet there was clearly alot of space, my guess is as they were young they thought they would not order much, when I went they said a table was available. Then we tried to speak to waitresses passing by for the menu, each said they are rbing the menu and nothing for almost 15 mins, we finally ordered some beers after 15 minutes nothing, another waitress different to the one who took the order came, we asked about the beers she said the other lady had not put the order in, we then ordered our food, I made the waitress even repeat the order to be sure and surprise surprise they forgot one dish completely. Again in-between had asked about the missing food twice and she said it's coming then after 30 mins they come and tell me it's me who didn't order it 🤬 then why lie that it's on the way without even checking. It was an absolutely horrible experience, as the owner sends someone to go and see how your guests are treated, there isn't a smile or a hello even by your staff, it's a hostile and uncomfortable environment as the owner you need to do something serious, a monopoly isn't enough to bank on, just because you are the only option doesn't mean you should treat your customers like rubbish. Someone will come and...

Decent cafe with a full menu from drinks entree to desert. Very spacious with indoor and outside area. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and dont mind you being a traveller with loads of baggages and dusty clothes. Free wifi is provided with acceptable speed considering its free(its Africa, people). Price is slightly on the expensive side especially so because the food is just mediocre at best. Fries were soggy as was the deep fried fish. Milkshake was surprisingly good but for $5 you expect it to be good. We got Fish&chips($10) and Masala chicken sandwich($8.5) which were both just edible, nothing to write home about. Coffee is good but Java does better. If you are here to stay for a late night flight like us I recommend you just get some drinks. Hungry travellers can benefit from cheap curry house(~$5)near terminal 1A just across the street from this establishment. The chairs are hard and uncomfortable but If you can set yourself on one of only three sofa seats, its pretty solid. Oh and do spray yourself freely with bug spray before walking in as the place is literally swarming with mosquitoes(I've see about five flying in groups). All in all, four stars for the ambiance and service, zero stars...

One of the worst place I ever visited for dining…waiters are not not even familiar with menu..ask them vegetarian options and they suggest me some thing with onion and cheese.which I said it’s okay …but what they serve me it was beef ,I just had bit and I knew it there is something wrong with food I ask waiters still she insisted me it vegetarian so I have to saw her petty inside which was beef.I asked her call your manager which was standing in the bar counter she just listened the waiter and run away from there after all that I ask them 2nd them can you call your manger ,she said sher is coming .after 15mint one guy came on chef jacket .he is one of the chef who cooked the food saying sorry the waiter post it wrongly.very disappointed and pathetic experience…need to be closed that kind of place if you are not able to hire good and...

Convenient, available and somehow reliable place to have coffee and drink and wait for flight or other travellers. It is at Unit 1, Jomo Kenyatta Departure Lounge. I have seen it open every hour I have passed by and others stopped by, I guess it’s an all-day and night kind of restaurant. The staff is friendly but unhelpful and good god if you want anything fast, then let this be a warning, don’t. I had pork ribs there and I was sick for three days thank god I was not flying I had taken my partner to fly. The food tasted funny in kind of an odd way but the marination and spices kind of hid it. I paid dearly sitting on the toilet for the next several days. I hope that was a one-off. But I would not be having anything there beyond coffee and that too is below par if you compare it with Java which is less than three min walk from there.

Average at best. I didn't enjoy of the drinks I received. Their cocktail juice is a thick pink mess, I ordered lemon tea which was terribly bitter no matter how much sugar I put, hot chocolate tasted nothing like hot chocolate, I even requested that they add more but it made no difference but I can tell that they use a very cheap brand, I can't tell you what it tasted like. Our waitress then gave me their coffee which I settled for The food was okay. You get 2,2mgs of salt to season your food. Service was ok. I do not recommend their hot chocolate and their fruit cocktail juice We also ordered their chocolate fudge cake and was not the freshest truly

Paul Caffè, located at gate 13 in the Jomo Kenyatta Departure Lounge, stands out for its convenience and service. Operating 24-7, it serves as a dependable dining spot for travelers, regardless of their flight schedule. The staff is notable for their attentive and swift service. A highlight of their menu is the authentic-tasting pizzas, a delightful treat that rivals a good Italian pizzeria. An additional convenience is the children's play area adjacent to the café, which is ideal for families seeking to keep their young ones entertained. Overall, Paul Caffè offers an enjoyable dining experience at any time, making it a prime choice for travelers.
