Great ambience and service. Both food and drinks are available at Jib's Cafe Bistro. You have many excellent options between light meals and snacks, and heavier meals such as lunches and suppers. An impressive array of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks is ready for you to choose from. Space flexibility is a major contributor to the attractiveness of this bistro. This is a good spot in Nanyuki for meetings, conferences and catching up with friends and colleagues to wind down after a day or week at work. It is in town and convenient while simultaneously able to afford you the privacy you might want from time to time. From the balcony sitting area, you get a panoramic view of Nanyuki's mainstreet. You are also able to view the majestic Mt. Kenya towering over the homely town and dominating the sights with its gentle-giant presence. Adequate parking available and it is secure for your motorvehicle. The staff is friendly, competent and gives you laudable service. Looking forward to my next visit to Jib's...
Read moreI love Jib’s. A must visit restaurant when you are in Nanyuki. The prices are great for the quality of food and service they offer. You can also grab drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic. They have quite a range, again their price point is good.
The butter chicken and naan was fantastic, a 12/10. Highly recommend. My friend wanted chicken soup, but I believe the way it’s stated in the menu was a bit confusing as he got boiled chicken served aside, but the soup was not from the same chicken. It was prepared separately. Also, please increase the soup portion, it’s quite little when you compare it to the rice portion. Aside from this everything else was fantastic, the staff are very friendly and the service is impeccable. The owner Jibran is also really good with guests. The place is kid friendly and they also have games that you can play, the likes of Monopoly...
Read moreMy husband and I came here for an early dinner. I ordered the fungi pizza with extra cheese, he ordered chicken masala and butter naan. There was plenty of cheese on my pizza however, when it cooled, it became a strange texture, and the small amount of mushrooms on the pizza were not cooked. My husband said his chicken masala was cubes of chicken in tomato sauce and the naan was actually adapted chapati. He had coffee and said it was pretty good. The service was great. However, I was facing the kitchen and saw some things that really disturbed me. One of the cooks whose back was to me, licked his hand and I saw another licking his fingers 😩 . Towards the end of our meal I also noticed a child joined the group that was cooking. The music was really loud, especially for 5 PM. Big concerns! We won’t be...
