Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype

Visited Cool Beans Café and left feeling quite underwhelmed. My biggest issue was with their Buy 1 Get 1 Free mocktail/cocktail offer. What they don’t tell you upfront - and is nowhere on the menu - is that the free drink has to be exactly the same as the one you paid for. If I’m buying two drinks, why can’t I at least try different flavors? That completely defeats the purpose for anyone wanting variety.

As for the food, it sadly didn’t make up for the disappointment. We ordered a steak with mushroom sauce and requested it medium well — it arrived medium rare. The sauce was bland, and the mushrooms were chopped so finely they may as well not have been there. The fries were crisp on the outside but mushy inside —not a great texture. Worse still, we weren’t offered any fry options, just served plain ones. A heads-up about garlic fries or other options would have been appreciated.

The chicken lollipop? Nothing special — dry and forgettable.
