Olio Trattoria Italiana — Restaurant in Mubarak Al-Kabeer

I went today with a friend and I have to say the staff were really nice and warm but they messed up my order and didnt bring me what I asked for, when I informed the staff they offered to bring me a new plate with the right order, they took my plate and came back in 4 minutes with the same plate after only adding cream to it and rearranging it to look presentable, without the seafood. I asked the waiter why the seafood was missing and he offered to bring it but I dont understand why they had to make me ask for it. Im a paying customer and they made a mistake but they didnt seem like they felt that they had to rectify it. After I explained what happened to the manager he removed the item from the bill but I still didnt enjoy the food because of the whole fiasco. I called them 3 weeks before my birthday to reserve a table. They asked me for my number, my name and my family name. To my surprise when I came the promised table overlooking the Gulf was occupied. We had to sit somewhere in the middle of nowhere. To my greater surprise and frustration, they had no information regarding me.

The table that my friends and I sat at was next to the smoking place. So, I came home smelling like a Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Anyway, this is a nice location. However, the staff were useless and incompetent. 2. It took them forever to bring the bill. They have more than enough staff. There weren't that many customers back then. But we had to wait for ages to be able to pay. The food is mediocre. At least, the dishes I ordered were so-so. I am shocked that a 5 star hotel can't manage the restaurants on...

Food is overpriced and is definitely not worth it. 2. Service takes forever even if there are few people in there. 3. The smoking area is in there. So, all the smoke comes onto you and you leave the place smelling like a chimney. 4. The staff isn't trained properly. The only reason I went there is the facilities of the place not the restaurant itself.
