Docked 1 star for price overall. 20 kwd per person on average for a full service - starters, mains, drinks, dessert. Honestly you are paying for the fine service and catering not just the food. Which is understandable

Service: Kindest most helpful hosts and waiting team. Hard to find anything to complain about really. Well-trained, sociable & open, and always naturally smiling. Dressed in Asian/Japanese attire for the extra touch, they’re always up for a photo too! High-quality towels, and cute fortune cookies at the end is a cherry on top.

Atmosphere: Vibe is 5/5, decor matches the vibes and quality. Good seating plan, spacious. Docked 1 star for extra loud music, made it hard to talk across the table and often hard to communicate with waiters/waitresses. If turned down a notch or two, would be 5 star for atmosphere!

I visited Young Po for the first time, and it was truly an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance is elegant and modern, perfect for a relaxing dinner or a special outing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable.

We tried several dishes, and every single one was bursting with flavor. The Crab Salad was fresh and absolutely delicious. The Mei Mei Eggplant was a standout perfectly cooked with rich, savory seasoning that made it one of our favorite items. We also had the Prawn Gyoza, which were soft and flavorful, and the Glazed Short Ribs, which were unbelievably tender and cooked to perfection.

A special shoutout to Deepak, one of the staff members, who was so patient and kind as we were trying to remember the name of a dish we liked from the menu. He took the time to explain everything to us and made sure we were comfortable throughout the meal.

Everything we tried was delicious, and the service was top-notch. This restaurant is a must-visit in Shuwaikh, whether you’re into modern Asian flavors or just looking for a new place to enjoy a high-quality meal with great service.

Our reservation was at 7 PM, but we arrived 30 minutes late. The restaurant had the option to either accommodate our late arrival or refuse us entry, which is understandable. The restaurant accepted our entry, and the staff take us to a table for two. When I informed the staff member of our party size and requested a table for four, she responded dismissively, "You were already late."" When we discussed this with her, she turned her face away and ignored us. Is this a professional response from a staff member in a reputable restaurant?
