Sern Sap Restaurant — Restaurant in Khammouane

We accidentally found Sern Sap when driving around through Nakai. Immediate thoughts were that it looks very welcoming.

The thoughts were correct. Some nice smile that looked meant and a great service although not always understood correctly because english is not their strong suit.

We met the owner (i think), a very nice australian guy who settled down here and has a nice set of kids. The smallest even called me fie fi fo fum hahaaa. We had a nice talk to.

The food was really good, we ordered a big plate of with 2 separate plates of rice. We were really full once finished. The australian even asked while the dish was made how spicy we wanted it.

All in all, i think it is better to eat here than at your place of stay in nakai.

Great place to have a breakfast! You can get nice roasted coffee included in your breakfast set. Potato-waffles crispy, balanced, salty. Mushroom with garlic Toast bread- the guys here do understand that toast bread is supposed to be toasted 💪🏻 We order porridge with local fish as well. Instead of rice- noodles.
