Swan Restaurant — Restaurant in Vientiane Capital

Quick lunch at Swan Restaurant today, very fair price in regard of the beautiful atmosphere, attentive service and quality of food. I'm talking about the lunch set menu though, the "à la carte menu" is way more expensive but we will be back there soon to try it as this first experience was nice.

The restaurant is very well laid out and intimate. The staff were lovely but the food was awful. A soggy Yorkshire pudding was given as part of our bread option. The French onion soup was very oily. The pork chop was deep fried and swimming in an odd brown sauce making the fried coating disgustingly soggy. I would not go back here, as the food was over priced and...

This restaurant is absolute peach of a gem. Excellent atmosphere with excellent food. The owner's taste and dedications really shines thru in the quality of the food.
