Sequence of events to expect here. Find your own table. 80% chance it will have the dirty plates from the last customers on it as I believe the signal to clear off a table here is new customers sitting down. Server will walk up to your table and say nothing. To be clear, your server will stand there dead eyed like a deer in the headlights not saying a word. This is the signal to place your order. Order will be taken. Do not be fooled, your order has not been submitted to the kitchen. Wait 20 min for your beers to come to the table. Server returns to take your order. When you remind them that they already took your order…you will be asked to give your order again. Beers come. Do not consider ordering any further refreshments as they will never come. This place has a 1 beer delivered rule regardless of how many you order. Wait 1 hour. Receive 2 or the 4 meals ordered. These will not be your appetizers, they will be the meals. Server will return with a 50 inch pizza, you did not order this. Proceeded to watch your server go to every table in the place and ask if the huge pizza is for them, all while you wish you had the 2nd beer you ordered. Appetizers show up. 1 of the remaining 2 meals show up. You are told the last meal is in the oven. A random cheese pizza shows up, this is free for some reason. Your last meal shows up, enjoy it while you wish you had the beers you ordered. Your server is GONE, they will NEVER come back. Go inside to pay. You will be charged 2 Euro for “service”
Exact same experience the last 2 times we visited...
Read moreA typical pizza restaurant with an average menu card. Nothing special. The staff had plenty of time to chitchat and very little time to serve the guests the evening I visited. I was given a menu card but had to wait 10-15 minutes before the staff cared to take my order (after I had made them aware that I was alive). This not because the staff was working hard, but simply because it was more fun to chitchat. In the adjoining room there was a large party gathered including children. Fine, but why did the restaurant accept that the kids used the main dining room as play ground disturbing the guests there, instead of asking the parents to look after there offspring. I'm staying long term in Adazi, but it will be very long before I go...
Read moreI guess it would be more like 3.5 stars. Tortellinis were good I'll give them that, Tagliatelle was decent, but nothing special. Minestrone soup also tasted decent, but basically left a "frozen veggies and noodles in broth" sort of impression. When I hear Minestrone I expect a thick hearty soup with pasta and beans, there was a grand total of one bean in this one. Anyhow, so far everything was adequate. We also ordered a pizza to go, which turned out to be quite salty with a somewhat stale feeling meat, which was a disappointment.
Google says three stars is "OK", so that's what this is. For the price (which is on par with some capital city Italian places) one would...
