Bambaleo — Restaurant in Ķekava

We were on Saturday around 17:00. I think it was only one table free. I am from Lithuania so i don’t speak Latvian. They have menu in english there. At that day one of the staff spoke english. Staff member warn us that we need to wait for food up to 40mins. Food came around 30mins. I had local tap beer was good. My wife had aperol spritz. Coctail was good taste. Pleasant look. Food. Portion are very big. Maybe thats why they are famous for there. I would go for “more is less”. If you eat everything you just want to go home sleep. If you eat to feel comfortable you will waist lots of food. Food is home cooked style. No mysterious tastes. For me menu is to confusing like 8 different chicken breast. I had chicken stuffed with mozzarella and wrapt in bacon. A lot of cheses breast moist bacon had good sear and saltines. Its bit dry on garnish for me i would like to have more fresh salad the big pile of fries. My wife had chef salmon. Very big portion for woman. Cost 20€ i think they can add to menu it could be shared for two persons. Also a lot of tastes salmon, mozzarella, prawns, caviar i think its to much fishy fish. But in the end was ok. Not over cooked not under cooked. There was no wow factor. Only about portion size. Good well...

Did not Enjoy this place at all. Even thought food looked great, large portians, price also OK. However, when we got to the table, no one from staff seemed to see us, when asking for Menu, staff said that food will be ready from 1 hour to 1.5 hours. There were only three employes in very busy sunday lunch time. When asked when someone will take our order, employe said that we just need to wait when someone will come. After 15 min, we just left. Attitude was horrible from staff, staying this I understand as it was very busy time. But will not go...

Ļoti jauka,skaista vieta ,ar lielu bērnu laukumiņu ,iekšā arī patīkams dizains . Ēdiens ir garšīgs ,vienīgi ilgi jāgaida. Apkalpošanā varētu biš pielikt attieksmi, kad aizgāju maksāt pat nezināja kurš čeks mūsu galdiņam , līdz ar to ja pats nenosauktu ko ņēmām ,tad var arī sajaukt ! Un ,kas nepatika ,ka apkalpotāja nepateica ,ka ja ņem frī ,tad mērce ir par maksu ,līdz ar to par četrām porcijām 8eur samaksāju tikai par mērci ,biš pa sālītu, okey nenāk klāt ,bet tad uzliec pieklājīgu cenu 1eur ,1.50eur ,jo nebija tā ka tā mērce būtu ok daudzumā, bet vārītiem kartupeļiem gan mērce bez maksas ,biš jocīga cenu politika šajā gadījumā. Pārējās cenas par ēdienu ir ok. Ir labs izlejamais alus klāsts,kas nav mazsvarīgi. Grillētas ribiņas 10eur + mērce 2eur=12 Karbonāde franču 8.70eur +mērce 2eur =10.70 Vistas kotletes pilna porcija 7.30eur+ 2eur mērce = 9.30 (priekš bērna biš pa sālītu beigās) Vistas kotlete puse 6.60eur+ 2eur mērce= 8.60eur (arī par sālītu priekš maza bērna )

Ja nebūtu jocīgā mērces politika ,tad pieaugušajiem ēdienu cenas ir ļoti ok ,priekš bērniem gan par sālītu.
