Hesburger — Restaurant in Ainaži

The place itself is placed in a good spot. Right next to the Latvian-Estonian border. Only reason this day I chose to eat here, was because I was just visiting Estonia and wanted a place to eat somewhere, and conviniently this Hesburger was located in my way to Estonia. The inside is really welcoming, there are two floors, so it was easy to find a table. Tables, floor and toilet was cleaned really great, which isn't really often in Hesburgers that I visited in Latvia. Staff was nice, the lady at the front knew English so I could easily communicate with her and place an order, which should be in all of the restaurants, especaly the ones by the nation borders. Food was proper really fast, waited only about 5 minutes. The food was hot and the drinks were cold. I got the "Barbacue Burger Meal" and my family members got Hesburger Burger Meals, from what they told me, they enjoyed it, since the burgers didn't drown in souce. The fries were also fresh, not too salty, they weren't really crunchy, but not soggy.

Tourists, don't bother eating here, because only locals are served. We waited almost an hour for our order to be taken even though we were the first in line. When we got the order made, we waited another half hour for the food, so everything had already cooled down. Even though I went to ask the counter to get our waiting food, they still only continued to serve locals. This is not a fastfood place, so be prepared to spend at least 1 hour but I recommend going some other...

I have been living nearby for over a year and a half and frequently ordering from this Hesburger. Unfortunately, they have forgotten to include items in my order four times. On two occasions, I had to drive 25 km back and forth because the staff couldn’t properly understand my order. Given that I am a Gold Customer, I expected better service and attention to detail.
