Restaurant Olive — Restaurant in Liepaja

The restaurant is located inside a shopping center on the second floor, we found it fairly quickly. Unfortunately, we were greeted by a not-so-friendly waitress, but later another waitress named Anna served us and she was really pleasant. The menu was quite varied with plenty of options to choose from. We decided on the Grilled Tuna Fillet Salad and the Salad in a Parmesan Cheese Basket with Seafood as starters. The tuna in the first salad was delicious and the combination with fruits was very successful. The second salad impressed us with its cheese basket which tasted just as good as the seafood. However, there was one issue, we found something very hard in this salad, possibly a shell fragment from the mussels which was concerning to come across while eating. For the main courses, we ordered the national cod dish - Liepājas Menciņi and mushroom risotto. Both dishes were very filling and delicious. This was not my first attendance here. Already attended this place last year in Jan-2017.

Nice restaurant on the southern outskirts of Liepaja. Located in the Baata mall. Easy access and free parking.

Nice, clean and tidy. Visible open kitchen and Galley, and no fumes or exhaust smell ascertained. Exhaust Air Vents working very well.

Attending crew and quite extended menu card. Prompt service at the time we attended.

All type of food can be served from cold and starters, various pasta dishes and salads, to hot meals fish and meat and obviously sweets and desserts too.

They serve the famous Liepaja Mencini too. Really special and typical food of old medieval Baltic fishermen.

They have also a quite extended sushi menu too.

Really a place to be recommended.

Place is good looking and food tasted good but not excellent for that price! Sushi was tasty but dessert could be better! Waitresses didn't done job properly forgot bring some food end when we asked how we can get some discount she said we need a discount card - we said ok we want one then but she just smiled and went off. Get our bill - paid and I checked in online I can buy that card in there and I asked why you didn't sell it for us when we asked? And she replied - not all people really want buy one! Seriously?!?! I am so disappointed for that situation! Not first time in there but because of waitresses could be last time! In Liepaja is so many places where to go where staff makes...
