MŌRA — Restaurant in Rezekne

If someone decides to visit Rezekne and the restaurant Mora, I recommend against it. The chef has no clue about food and cooking techniques whatsoever. The salmon gravlax and ostrich steak were the most dreadful dishes. The gravlax didn't taste like cured salmon at all; it was watery and reminiscent of herring. The ostrich steak was tough, overcooked, and dry, and it was served in small, essentially unacceptable pieces. Even the beef carpaccio didn't taste like meat. It's unbelievable how much you have to ruin a product to reach such a level.

The fish was the only acceptable dish, along with the non-alcoholic drink with peppermint syrup. I would recommend reconsidering the menu. It's not entirely clear what audience this restaurant is intended for because it offers both old-fashioned buffet dishes like herring in a fur coat, meat salads, etc., and there are attempts to include something more contemporary, but unfortunately, that doesn't work out either.

Service - if your employees can't speak Latvian, then don't let them serve Latvian-speaking customers. It's absurd when young people can only say thank you and...

Много лет назад смотрела сериал "Кухня ". И как хотелось, также прийти в ресторан, где современный интерьер, где безупречно готовы столы с скатертью встречать гостей. И тебя встречает улыбчивый персонал, в строгой униформе. Где блюда будут изысканны, как фильме. И мы нашли такой ресторан в Резекне. Приятно удивлены. Интерьер уютный и стильный, музыка приятная. Персонал внимателен и отвывчив. Заказали брускетт, стейк и вино. Вино рекомендовал официант. Блюда были очень вкусными и прекрасно приготовленны. Брускетт замечательно дал нам сил подождать стейк, мясо сочное плюс к этому вино , всё восхитительно.Интересная подача блюд. Ресторан подходит и для похода с детьми . Рекомендую Ресторан, для тех кто хочет Красиво отдохнуть, насладится свежей и вкусной едой. Ресторан оставил положительные эмоции. Спасибо за прекрасный вечер. ...
