Location of the place is great and atmosphere inside also was quite nice and cozy. However everything else was just bad. For myself i got some Cesar's salad since you can't really go wrong with that, but i was wrong. Chicken was super overcooked, rubbery and quite honestly i don't think I've ever eaten chicken so bad. This makes me think either the cooks don't have a clue what they are doing or it's just a frozen premade chicken that they just reheat/overcook. Salad and the sauce was fine i guess, but for 12,50€ it still was below any rimi/maxima premade salads. My friends got some pasta and it was quite literally SWIMMING in the oil. Non of us finished our dishes. We got three different cocktails as well and all of them were below average, nothing special. It's a shame because it is a wonderful place that i would like to visit in summer, but don't think i will after this experience. Service was very mediocre.
P.s. It was restaurant week when we visited and no-one even offered us restaurant week menu and we found out only when we went to the bar to pay. Just added to the...
Read moreI’ve been to this place a while ago but somehow I’ve forgotten that the food here is surprisingly delicious! The only explanation I have is the surroundings as well as the actual place with a rather lovely outdoor seating area and laid back atmosphere. :) Sort of a self service as you have to order as well as fetch your food and drinks from the bar area, which I’m not used to so took a star off for that. Definitely not on the expense of the lovely people making, serving the food and drinks. They wore a huge smile and had a great attitude! 😊 The portions are generous at this place. Ordered a salad each as it wasn’t very clear what comes with the chicken sashlik. But as you can see in the pictures, no need for anything else if you choose to have that meat dish. Very well prepared, presented and cooked. For 3 dishes and 2 glasses of white wine we paid around 45€, which is super reasonable in my humble opinion. :) Overall would definitely go back as well as recommend this place...
Read moreThe place has a nice location - by the lake. However, first, you have to pay 1 EUR per hour for parking (you have to think in advance how long you will stay as you can't pay afterwards), even on evenings and holidays. Second, the system of ordering the food is like in a Soviet cantine - you have to stand in the line to make your order, pay and then you wait for ages again for your order at the table. Why can't they make table service and waiters to take orders? We were a group of people and 5 people ordered food - only 2 meals came at the same time, the last one waiting for simple French fries another 30 minutes. We ordered "shashlik" and it was served cold and with simple ready-made cabbage salad and corn - horrible dressing. And the service is of course none - waitresses only bring meals and they don't come up to clean the table, so you can sit around dirty dishes for...
