One of worst experience in this chain of restaurants. We arrived to Resturant 8:30pm and ordered 3 small dishes including the sushi dish. However sushi dish came 9:30pm. No body said to us it would be late just in case they are busy.
Dish, worst hot Philadelphia sushi ever ate, It came very cold, rice was dropping, very small size, all sushi portions as seen stuck together as one body, you barely can take one sushi from big mess. Also worth mentioning that you need microscope to see the fish and ingredients.
we left 9:45 since Resturant closing 10 pm. Besides that, while paying the waiter barley opened her mouth and after we payed abd said thank you for hosting, no answer was given, she simply turn us her back and moved fast without even welcome.
As usual, everyday, Latvian Resturants/ shops or service providers are proving they know nothing called customer service or catering. Wish they could...
Read moreI have to say i been a customer of gan bei for a long time but today at this location i had the worst experience ever. Food came out fast but it was the worst lunch experiences I’ve ever had , food was lukewarm rice was so dry and tasteless, the crunchy pork was dry and a horrible taste. I had the lunch special maybe that was the problem, seemed like the food had been sitting around for days. The gentleman who sat me and waited on me disappeared was sitting there for more than 20 min with the plate of food that I had a few bites of. Finally a girl came over and asked if everything was ok I explained what the issue was and all she said was sorry would u like the bill so I just paid the bill and left the place hungry and disappointed. ( never returning to this location that’s how bad the service...
Read moreWe went with friends to celebrate and remember our trip to Thailand. The service was very warm and friendly — our waitress was kind, witty, and found us a cozy corner by pushing a few tables together (the place was quite full, being late Friday afternoon). The food was delicious. The only Thai item on the menu was a few versions of Tom Yum soup, but it was very authentic and full of flavor — just smaller and more expensive than in Thailand, and with fewer prawns. But hey, this is Riga, not Bangkok or Krabi! The main courses were really tasty. The waitress even found out and told us where the cheese in one dish came from — such a nice touch! Definitely recommend visiting “Gan Bei” for lunch or dinner....
