Had high expectations but the whole experience was disappointing. 🙄 Starting with service - we went outside to have a table and the wind had blown off the tablecloth and it was on the ground, the waiter came didn't even say hi or hello picked it up from the ground and put it on the table even though it had ants on it crawling and dirt on it. We decided to change the table and went inside. It seemed that they were short on the staff because the service was slow and there was only one waiter and one bartender for the whole restaurant. Later the service was - meh... no pleasantries - nothing... no rudeness as well but from a place like this I would expect the waiters to be more open and welcoming.
Regarding the food - I am vegan and I was pleasantly surprised that they had 3 vegan options (or dishes that you can make vegan if you'd ask) and even oat milk - that is great. Took grilled cauliflower with BBQ sauce - the portion size was okay but the food was savorless, the cauliflower didn't seem grilled but just boiled and it was just plain head of cauliflower - no sauce, no oil dressing, nothing that would give it some taste nuance. The BBQ sauce was a bit too sour and tasted artificial. BQQ sauce was on all dishes ( in total we ordered 4 different dishes) - I was just thinking if you have a "specialty" sauce that you serve with most of the dishes shouldn't it be really good? 🤔 The BBQ was edible but it wasn't a restaurant sauce - it tasted like a store-bought sauce, disappointing. My friends took meat that was grilled good and the grilled fish was just random, wasn't bad or good it was just nothing special. In total would rate this place 4 out of 10. But I had as well high expectation because I read that the chef there is really good, but to be honest couldn't tell it by the food we ate.
