Super-pleasant place right by the sea with tons of charm. I think they hit a jackpot with the interior design here, which really makes you feel cozy and at home. There are some real old-school Latvian magazines, all sorts of detail items and even a little dog who may visit you at your table.
Food didn't disappoint either. Soup (If you pick Borscht it is prepared on a wooden fire, outside by the entrance!) was great and so were the main dishes. Portion size of both was quite generous, even if you have walked up some appetite after walking by the sea. Everything felt fresh and was seasoned and prepared just right.

I asked her if she could be more quiet, and she mumbled that this is a terrace. The next morning we still went there, thinking she just had a bad day. Read moreStrangely enough, ordering only one meal is really a hassle. Was looked down upon from cashier by sighing, rolling eyes and negative voice tone. Got really terrible attitude and for what? I was with girlfriend and we couldn't decide what to take for a quick fix. Nobody was behind us in queue and it took couple minutes to order. That's it. Food arrived after 10 - 15 min.
