Service: From the moment we stepped in, we were warmly welcomed by the host who swiftly seated us at a table for two. The service was exceptional, with our orders promptly served within just 10 minutes. The staff were attentive and efficient throughout our dining experience.

Food Quality: We sampled a variety of dishes, including a BBQ plate, hummus, tabbouleh, fries, and wings. Despite my usual preference for cow meat over sheep, I was pleasantly surprised by how tender and flavorful the BBQ plate was. The tabbouleh was good, though I felt it could have been better.

Menu Variety: Amaleen offers a diverse menu featuring Asian, Western, and Eastern cuisines. While the food options are plentiful, the drink selection seemed somewhat limited.

Price/Value: While the prices were generally reasonable, some dishes seemed to have smaller portions compared to others, which didn't quite justify their price. Additionally, the caramel macchiato we ordered lacked the strong flavour we expected and leaned towards bitterness. For our order, it was about 35$.

Cleanliness: The restaurant maintained high standards of cleanliness, including well-maintained bathrooms. Adjacent to the restroom area, there's a playground, making it convenient for families with children.

Overall Experience: Our overall experience at Amaleen was delightful. The combination of excellent service, delectable food, and pleasant ambiance made for an enjoyable dining outing. Despite a few minor hiccups with portion sizes and the drink selection, we would still highly recommend Amaleen for a satisfying meal.

On the surface, this place seems like an ideal place for an authentic Lebanese meal with family and friends. This place is highly advertised across numerous billboards within the district. In hindsight, we should have taken that as a clear red flag for a tourist trap. For $20, you are provided with numerous mezze dishes, meat platters, fruit, Arabic coffee, and Lebanese sweets.

While this initially comes across as a good opportunity to sample a variety of Lebanese dishes, once you are seated at the table, the food is brought out to you all at once, and you quickly become overwhelmed with sampling all the dishes before they grow cold. Meanwhile, the waitstaff watches over you, discreetly taking away untouched plates before you have a chance to eat from them. Thus, the food is more of a prop to have the customer think he or she has endless options, when in reality, you don’t have a chance to enjoy them before the food is taken away. Another telltale sign was that we were provided with both mezze and dinner plates, but were so rushed, the waitstaff didn’t even bother clearing the mezze plates from half our party.
