I recently had the pleasure of dining at Amar Harissa in Jounieh, Lebanon, and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant offers one of the most breathtaking views in the area, overlooking the stunning Mediterranean Sea. Whether you're there for a sunset dinner or an evening meal with city lights, the view alone is worth the visit.

The food is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish I tried was a perfect 10 out of 10. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the presentation was exquisite. From the appetizers to the desserts, each plate was crafted with great attention to detail and tasted as amazing as it looked.

amar is a beautiful place with an amazing view, The food is amazing, but the plates are small ( as a portions ) . But as a taste so yummy , the waitress are so friendly and respectfull.

But something happened to me in the restaurant, which makes me not repeat my experience , that yesterday was eid , the restaurant was complete, from two days i called amar’s restaurant to book a table for 3 people , and i confirmed that the table would be with a beautiful view and outdoor !! as I was coming from Tyre (long way) and i said that to them , when i arrived the table was (indoor) telling me that this is the outdoor ! I was shocked , either they put for us a table with no view ! I’ve been waited table (36) outdoor just to sit instead of them , i’ve waited from 4:30 till 6:00 to sit at table 36. And the waitress every 10 mins a waiter came to tell us a different story , that 5 mins and they’ll go , or , someone else reserve the table so you cannot sit insted of them ! I got so angry !

For this reason i’ll not repeat my bad experience!

Hello first of all in my opinion and my family 0 experience in this restaurant ill put only 4 stars for the service and staff because they appreciate the customers as well and service from the heart and they handle everything in a friendly way. Next opinion is for the administration or call service when you call and put a reservation they should told you that there is an event in this day because the place is small it cannot handle so much people it get so noisy and annoying,second the portion of the food os literally 0/10 you get this much money and you give is nothing , the food literally ما بشبّع بسينة , w to be honest more nothing is delicious only the kafta was good but it also so tiny and the plate is for 12$ and only contains 4 skewers? Why… the batata harra it looks like everything only itself … in addition for the kafta plates it should contains at least hummos and the salaf of it it’s only a half half half spoon it want enough for one person…. Im sorry for this bad feedback but we should be honest in everything’s, thank you...
