I ordered a spaghetti bolognese from Paddy’s Sports Bar yesterday for delivery, and what I received was shocking. The food reeked of chili sauce (and I actually like chili sauce—but not on a bolognese). When I tasted it, it was absolutely drenched in so much chili that it felt like a prank, not a meal.
I understand that mistakes happen in restaurants, and I’m usually patient about that. A simple mix-up isn’t a big deal, and normally staff will apologize and find a way to fix it. But the way Paddy’s Pub handled it was unbelievable.
When I called to politely explain the issue, the staff member actually giggled at me "hehe, sorry sir it wont happen again" and hung up the phone. That was their “solution” to my problem—no apology, no offer to replace the meal, no respect for a paying customer.
This kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. Bad food can be forgiven if handled correctly, but mocking customers and refusing to take responsibility is not. If you value decent service and respect, I strongly suggest...
