Mandri puodai — Restaurant in Anykščiai

The waitress was unpleasant, when we came there was a free table, but not everyone was chosen. When asked to pick it, he angrily retorted that she would pick it when he had time. As more people started to pick up, the next waiter started picking them off. Another waiteress took our order, we got our snacks and drinks quickly, but we never got our burger. I asked three times when we will receive the coffins, they always answered that they are already placing them, they are already preparing them. But unfortunately, all the burgers ended up on another table, but not on us. I went to the bar to look for them myself, and the same unpleasant barmaid started to explain to me that our burgers take longer to cook, because they have to be fully cooked. I answered that I know how long they cook, and the table that came half an hour later after us has been eating burgers for a long time. And finally, another waitress comes running, apologizes and offers to wait another 10 minutes for the others to cook, because as I understood them, they either forgot to order or gave it to another table. We didn't agree to wait, we paid for the drinks, snacks and left hungry and angry because we were with a child who was even more...

The place is easy enough to find, just around the corner from convenience store. Looks can be deceiving as when you walk in seems like a takeaway or a small local bar. Staff is very nice, friendly and professional. As others have noted the atmosphere is a bit hip. Seating mainly outside, there is enough for sunny, rainy and even windy days cover wise. Family friendly spot. Last but not least the food selection is not huge but variety of dishes is there and the prices are affordable. There were four of us and we all got different and very tasty dishes. Highly recommend. Especially as the spot is away from any traffic and noise. Mandri Puodai rocked our taste buds in Anykščiai! Their "Mandri Makaronai" (noodles) with vištiena (chicken), krevetės (shrimp), or jautiena (steak) were all bursting with flavor. The burgers were juicy and the "Giras" complemented the meal perfectly. We loved the easy table ordering using their app and the rockstar vibes with posters of music legends.
