Restoranėlis ,,Kiemelis" — Restaurant in Anykščiai

We visited Kiemelis during a day trip to the outskirts of the capital, and the experience was nothing short of wonderful.

Even the walk towards the restaurant was magical—nestled among towering trees and situated by the river, the setting was simply breathtaking. The restaurant itself blends beautifully with nature, featuring charming wooden touches, comfortable seating, and a warm, inviting ambience.

We started with some appetisers before moving on to the main courses, and the food was exquisite—delicious and beautifully prepared. My only small remark would be that the chicken wings could do with a bit less coating, but otherwise, everything was spot-on.

Midway through our meal, it began to rain, and we were delighted to find a stunning outdoor glasshouse—it truly felt like a dream! However, as we were a larger group, we opted to sit inside, which was even cosier.

To round off the meal, we ordered churros, and oh my god!—what a flawless choice! Simply delicious.

The staff were incredibly kind and efficient, and the prices were just right. Without a doubt, we’ll be returning on our next visit...

Atvykome sekmadienį, 11 val, atsisėdome viduje. Patalpa greit užsipildė žmonėm, tai visiems susėdus ir dar su vaikučių kėdutėm, vietos mažoka, ankšta,laisvos kėdės, dėl stalų kojų kvadratinio pagrindo, neprisistumia prie pat stalo, tai prie kito staliuko šalia žmogus tiesiog netilpo atsisėsti. Truputį trūksta dėmesio tvarkai ir detalėms - ant sieninių šviestuvų virš staliukų kabėjo dulkėti voratinkliai. Paklausus ar turi vėlyvų pusryčių meniu, atsakymas truputį šokiravo.. Cituoju: "Savaitgaliais brunch'o meniu neturime. Pas mus brunch tik darbo dienomis kartu su dienos pietum". Matyt įstaigos savininkas nelabai supranta kas tai yra vėlyvieji pusryčiai, kad tai yra labiausiai savaitgalių dalykas, kai žmonės išsimiega, niekur neskuba ir vėlai pusryčiauja. Kokia prasmė brunch'ą turėti darbo dienom, jei jau nuo 11 yra galimybė suvalgyti dienos pietus? Kadangi internete prieš atvažiuodami peržiūrėjom meniu, paklausiau kodėl nematau vaikiško meniu ir norėčiau iš jo užsisakyti blynelių. Atsakymas pribloškė - pasirodo, suaugusiems iš vaikiško meniu patiekalai negaminami! Teko užsisakinėti iš suaugusių meniu 😂 Maistas visumoj buvo neblogas, grill daržovės ir naminiai traškučiai skanūs, grill dešrelės buvo keistos tekstūros, priminė veganines. Ir nesupratau sprendimo, ant grietininio krapų padažo uždrėbti šaukštą parduotuvinės abrikosų uogienės. Dievinu namines pikantiškas uogienes, ypač prie mėsiškų patiekalų, bet čia ji...

The food was genuinely good, but the overall experience missed the mark. €3.50 for tap water felt unreasonable, and the small portions didn’t justify the high prices.
