Charlie Pizza — Restaurant in Vilnius

A bloody tragedy. Just after we finished watching movie in the cinema nearby we decided to go for a quick snack yet something not that fast-food’ish. Also, I like to go to Charlie pizza, because they have these food coupons online, so you can get a meal for less than 5€. Which is cheap. And well, what can you expect for such price. But for f.. sake.. we ordered two soups, a small pizza, a chicken burger and beer. Burger’s meat was under-cooked, it was hard to chew and you could barely taste any seasoning, only pickles and onions intertwined. The bun was dry and basically falling apart. Šaltibarščiai were alright. Chicken soup- like in a school cantina. No spices, no salt. Flat. About the pizza- ir seemed that the chefs knew that it was a disaster, so they just added like A LOT of jalapeno peppers, it was barely anything else besides the burn in my mouth. And beer! I don’t uderstand if my mouth just went numb from all the peppers, or was it really that awful.. waiters were alright. Children’s playing zone- the picture says it all. I’m usually very positive about the restaurant. But goddamnit it was very bad. Stomach...

We used the QR code on the table for expedience (or so we thought) After 20 minutes the drinks arrived. After 45 minutes I asked about our order, and was told that because it is so busy, the order (1 burger, 1 pizza) would take at least an hour. After 1 hour and 10 minutes I asked again, and they said that because I used the QR code on the table, they completely forgot my order, because whoever is in charge, missed our paid order on the order screen. Furthermore, we saw so much food lying on the kitchen desk, but nobody taking the food to the tables. We saw a hamburger with fries just standing there for 20 minutes (maybe it was ours, but nobody could tell us, because the burger had no order ticket). We also saw 9 pizzas lying under hot lamps, but very slowly being served to the tables. It looked like nobody is responsible for the front of house getting the orders out on time. Every server just keeps looking at order tickets next to the food, hoping its their order. This restaurant needs to be better organized. We told them to give our money back...

I've went there today, 08.08.2023 at 14:30 and sat outside. I asked the waiter for peperoni pizza and double-checked that it would not be spicy and would be like margherita plus peperroni. Waiter delivered pizza with olives, chilli flakes, and chilli peppers. The pizza was for a child, and this was made sure of the waiter. She asked, or she can replace the pizza, which would take another 15-20 minutes, and child can't eait that long as we waited already.
