The Living Room was literally one of the best if not the best restaurant experience I had in Accra! The energy was so high, I loved the live band and the ambience. The atmosphere was very welcoming and warm. In the process of collecting content for my YouTube channel, I went to record a happy old man I saw dancing with the band and he asked me to dance with him and it was such a beautiful time! Even though I didnโ€™t know what the band was singing, the music made me feel so happy! I loved the general groove of the place, even the staff were dancing lol The food was good too, the only downside was the waitress forgot to place part of my order so we had to wait a while longer but the food was good when I came, I had red red and plantain with red fish. I loved the processed palm wine but I was hoping it will be fresh palm wine served in a calabash! That would have taken it up a major notch. I will absolutely visit the living room again when next Iโ€™m in Accra. Kindly visit my YouTube channel, luxury living with Hadiza for more African travel videos and reviews

Craving delicious local and continental cuisine? Look no further! This restaurant offers a fantastic dining experience that will tantalize your taste buds and leave you wanting more. The food truly speaks for itself. Everything is cooked to perfection and arrives at your table piping hot. I won't spoil the surprise with descriptions - trust me, it's that good! But be prepared to be impressed. The outdoor seating is a delightful setting for an afternoon meal. Tents provide comfortable shade, allowing you to relax and enjoy the fresh air. The overall atmosphere is inviting and perfect for any occasion. One of the things that really sets this restaurant apart is the attentiveness of the staff. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth dining experience. The owner even takes the time to personally check in with guests, creating a warm and welcoming ambiance. In short, this restaurant is a hidden gem. From the delicious food to the fantastic atmosphere and attentive service, it's a place you won't want to miss. Highly recommended!

I've stayed within walking distance for almost 6 months... & decided I'd check it out this evening! ๐Ÿค” I walked in to the notice that the prices had increased slightly, just a week ago... ๐Ÿ™„ Luckily, my choice (Palava Sauce with Salmon) was less than 5ghc more than I expected, from the older pictures of the menu posted. ๐Ÿ˜ Unfortunately though, I thought it was "just OK, at best"... ๐Ÿ˜Œ I found out the sauce was pre-made with salmon (base); so I felt good about it... but I just did not find it very flavorful/tasty! ๐Ÿ˜• (but thankfully, it was not TOO spicy with pepper ๐Ÿฅต) The Club was ICE-cold, like it could've easily been on draft however... scooore! โœŠ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ˜Š I'm posting the entire, new/updated menu, FYI. If I go back, and like another choice better, I'll update the 3-star, & review. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

This is my favorite local food restaurant (Ghanaian cuisine). Living roomโ€™s grilled tilapia is the best in whole Accra and Iโ€™m not even exaggerating โค๏ธ. It takes a while for the food to come since they prepare everything fresh and the sumptuous taste is always worth the wait. However you can call ahead to place your order before getting there. Their seating is comfortable and they have fresh fruit juices. Their prices are affordable and staff are friendly and polite too. Their supervisor Bismarck always attend to customers in a professional manner and ensures everything is in order. Yโ€™all should visit the place asap

I visited this place a few days ago and the food was super yummy! I got the grilled tilapia and the fried yam. I enjoyed my meal a lot. The only downside was the long wait for the food due to how busy the establisment was, which I understood. We came on a Sunday as well so that definitely added to how busy the place was. However, the customer service was very good, our waiter, Perpetual, was very sweet. We will definitely be visiting again.

Got the recommendation from a friend and when I got to go it was an amazing experience. Living room restaurant is a whole different vibe on its own and you could spend hours there without even knowing just enjoying yourself. Beautiful scenery with well kept greenery, good music, great food, very polite and hardworking staff, amazing people all round. Would definitely recommend it if you haven't been there already. Good job

Living room is located 2minutes drive from the east legon police station. They have alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and serve a wide variety of dishes, both continental and local and they have greatly improved overtime. The food is better and the environment is so beautiful now with a lot of green and enough seating.. I was served by Philip and he was simply amazing. Fast, very respectful and receptive.

We visited this establishment twice within the 2 weeks we were in Ghana. Our service the first time was great, the waiter was very attentive always around though it was very busy. I had the fufu with light soup which was today to me, the soup wasn't what I was use but was not bad, just wasn't for me however I tried the fried rice which was amazing and the fried plantains.

Our 2nd time there was a bit if a hustle, we sat right by the bar, it wasn't as busy however we waited over 1 hour for our meals, I had to approach my waitress about 4 times regarding it. About an hour of waiting, I went to find her and she told me that they were out of fried rice and it will take about 15 mins for another batch to be ready however not once in that 1 hour did she ever inform us of this. It then took about another 30 mins to get our meal. She never offered us beverages, we kept going to the bar for our own until the guy at the bar asked someone why we weren't being catered to and brought us beverages himself on a tray. I also asked for extra goat me, never saw the waitress until she showed up after business was closed and told me they were out of goat me. She didn't seem that interested, she was also chatting with other employees and we were waiting for our change, the funny thing is I understand twi so I heard all she said and it was nothing important relating to work.

If I hadn't had the best experience the first time I likely won't revisit however I did and know it's a great establishment, we just got a waitress who didn't seem to care much about the job. I would still recommend checking this place out. Great food and good vibes. I will revisit when I return back to Ghana. Hopefully not the...
