Home from Home guesthouse — Hotel in Accra

I should've done this a long time ago, and I’m sorry it's coming now, but I just had to share! I had an absolutely superb experience with Home from Home you all truly exceeded my expectations. As a first-timer in Accra, the staff made everything so easy and enjoyable. Honestly, I loved everyone here, from the manager all the way down to the security personnel. Their service was 10/10 I couldn't have asked for more.

At first, I was a little apprehensive about the dogs, but they reassured me that they were there for my safety, which put my mind at ease. The electricity was always on, 24/7, with no interruptions. The place was spotless, well-kept, and the neighborhood was incredibly safe. Not to mention, I even got discounts! One of the things that really sold me was the church. I’ve never stayed at a place where there’s a designated time for prayer to my creator. As a Christian, I truly loved that aspect of this place.

So, if you're looking for a short or long-term stay, they’ve got you covered. And everything you need or want to do is so close by.

I highly recommend checking out this place. I can guarantee you won’t regret it.

I stayed at Home from Home guest house from 27Dec-5th Jan and during that time I had the most marvelous time. The staff at the guest house are incredibly friendly. They have wonderful breakfast every morning, & well prepared Ghanaian dishes for lunch and dinner. The hotel is located in a very nice are of Accra, Ghana. There are plenty of places to eat, shop or have fun within close distance. The hotel rooms surely make you feel as though you in deed are home from home. They are cozy, comfortable and spacious. House keeping do a good job and I loved the traditional bed covers they used. The staff members made sure that I got to where I needed to go safely as they help with any Uber or taxi bookings. The place was really nice and simple. Very clean. The ladies working front desk were very nice too. They do seem to go a bit overboard with language about not ruining their towels and how they will charge you for a stain... I'd say they are in the wrong business.

Breakfast is an egg sandwich with hot dogs in it? With some fruit. It seems to be revered as quite the delicacy.. IDK about that! But the staff is ready and willing to work which is quite refreshing for Ghana!
