We were so looking forward to this dinner as it was our last one in Tokyo, I have seen some recommendations and it sounded like a great place to end our stay in this beautiful city. The views are amazing! We went at 5:00 and you have a 2 hour slot to eat, we knew it so we were ok at first with it. Our waiter did not speak any English and he tried his best to translate with google, but I have to say that for such touristy place it was a surprise. The food is really good, we took the anniversary set, the amuse bouche were very tasty and the Sirloin Steak was also really good as well as the desserts. The only thing we were not happy at all was the service. We knew that we only had two hours so it everything runs correctly it is more than enough time to finish our dinner, nevertheless and although the waiter was really nice, the service was bad and very slow, we ordered water and it came until the main was finished. Our drinks came also late, the plates were piling up all the time because the ones from the previous round were not taken away, when the desserts arrived we just got a bit of time left to finish them, then we had a last drink included and I couldn’t even finish my coffee because the waiter came to remind us that we just had two hours so we had to leave.

This was simply the best thing we did during our stay in Tokyo! We booked in advance and had the 5,500 yen set menu that included a soup course, a tower of eight amuse-bouches, a fish course, a meat course, dessert and tea or coffee. It was fantastic, and we honestly could not believe the quality, service and the VIEW that we got for that price! We had a lovely sofa-style seat facing the window with a view of the Skytree and over the city as the sun went down. One thing to note is that I think you aren't guaranteed to be given a window seat, so we were lucky as it was a Tuesday night and wasn't busy anyway. Even if you didn't get a window seat, the food would still be worth it though. We loved every course, and the cocktails, and our server explained what each thing was to us in English when each course arrived. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. I loved it. One tip: the hotel is on the 31st floor of Solamachi Tower, and you can only access it from a particular elevator. It's elevator 12 and it's located near the Oshiage Station end of the shopping centre.
