Da Leoni — Restaurant in Differdange

So, to begin with, we had good experiences too. But I got to say, the last 2 times we ordered there I am shocked on how bad the Service was while I ordered and how bad and dangerous the food was. The first time something bad happened, i ordered a lasagna and my wife ordered gnocchi. As I cut my lasagna I saw something strange, I just couldn't believe it, there was a wasp in my lasagna. My wife is HIGHLY allergic to wasps. Just imagine what could have happened if she ate something from it? They told us it was normal during summer time, that things like that happen. They gave us a little discount and we just didn't order from there for a long time. Now that we have ordered again, the service on the phone was so bad. The man was really unfriendly, he didn't tell me how much it was or when they would deliver. He just hung up. And i got to say for the prices they have and how they consider themselves as a high class restaurant, I'm very disappointed from what we experienced the last few times. And usually we loved eating/ordering there and the Restaurant itself looks really nice and has a good atmosphere, but after today, I'm not that impressed anymore. Today we called again to inform them about something that bothered us and my wife had another man on the phone who responded really nicely and was comprehensive. We used to come to Da Leoni regularly. Food was always average but service used to be great. This time it was just an all around horrible experience. My carbonara was okay but I was surprised to not be given the option of traditional carbonara, only cream sauce in an Italian restaurant. My wife’s dish has pieces of shell in it from the langoustine. Then there was the service. Je suis malheureusement très déçu de ma dernière visite, et ce malgré plusieurs tentatives de donner une nouvelle chance à cet établissement.

J’ai commandé une pizza sans gluten, qui m’a été servie avec une pâte non cuite, un concentré de tomate très acide, des champignons crus et un excès d’eau rendant l’ensemble peu appétissant. Lorsque j’ai demandé au serveur de la faire recuire, il m’a répondu que cela ne serait pas possible à cause du jambon cru… J’ai donc dû la manger telle quelle, malgré sa cuisson insuffisante.

Ma maman avait opté pour un filet de bœuf, dont la viande avait une odeur très forte, ce qui laissait penser qu’elle n’était pas de première fraîcheur.

De plus, j’avais demandé du jambon cru en remplacement du jambon blanc sur ma pizza et j’ai été facturé 5,50 € de supplément, ce que je trouve vraiment exagéré pour un simple changement d’ingrédient.

Enfin, le thé à la menthe, qui n’était qu’un verre d’eau chaude avec quelques feuilles de menthe, était franchement imbuvable.

Nous en avons eu pour 75 € au total, pour une pizza, un plat de viande, un café, un thé, un coca et une bouteille d’eau… Une addition bien trop élevée compte tenu de la qualité des plats et du service. Je ne...
