Restaurant Jade Inn — Restaurant in Käerjeng

Went to Jade in for lunch and it was a mixed experience. Waitress that greeted us was very nice and smiling and we got told to sit wherever we please.

The 3 of us ordered the buffet and I kinda feel like we should've taken ala carte, since the choice of foods were very limited. And the trays were almost completely empty when we went up there. We sat for about 15 mins after the first small plate and waited, other guests there also went in vain. The staff noticed that eventually, but it took quite a time for the food to arrive.

Now the food in it self was good; quite spicy and fairly heavy handed with the garlic. The beef was excellent and did not have the typical rubbery texture that you often encounter at Chinese places. The chicken was also tender.

We will come back I think, but this time not...

You come at these kind of places for the food and not that much for the scenery. Although they did their best at designing the restaurant. It is just like any other.

But it's about the food, and the food was good and it was a lot. I walked away with my belly filled to the top and very satisfied as well. Therefore I highly recommend going to this place.

The staff is friendly, that evening they spoke a little bit of english as well and are helpful in deciding which food you want.
