I was driving in Luxembourg city, and my navigation brought me into this way. Personally I didn't see any sign shows no vehicle allowed on this way. The restaurant's personal delivery car blocked the entire way. Waited for couple of mins, no one moved the car so I had to press the horn. A guy came out from the restaurant; gave us a bad look; did a people walking gesture to us. He came to my window side and kept telling me this is a pedestrian way and no car would be allowed. I said sorry, I didn't see a sign and I asked if he's gonna leave soon if not I can just drive back. He asked us just wait and went inside. After couple of minutes again, he came out again and kept doing gestures to us about there is a sign and no car is allowed.

I'm not sure if I drove in a wrong way or not, but if it's no car allowed, I don't think any personal car has any reason or excuse to violate the regulations to drive in, even delivery is blocking people's walking path. The other thing I'm pretty sure is if people cause any inconvenience, they should take the right action to talk and find a way to solve things but not keep blaming other people who did the same thing they did.

On the other hand, if they meant they block random cars is right, what if there is another delivery car, a bike or a group of people behind them? Should they apologize for occupying public space which belongs to this country not them first?

If the people of this restaurant deal with other people and the regulations of the country like this, no matter how they treat the customers and how the food is, I doubt it can be a...

As a coffee aficionado, I've always had my antennae pointed at possible coffee places. This was also the case during my short stay in Luxembourg City.

By luck we walked into a small cozy alley and found Konrad Café & Bar. At first glance, not a hip, sleek coffee bar from a metropolis as you often see on Instagram these days and which many coffee bars imitate. On the contrary, the interior is cosy, full, dark, haphazardly gathered with many items,... In other words, it is a nice, pleasant and cozy place to linger.

We ordered a cappuccino. This was the way I like to drink it: round and soft, but you still managed to taste the strong taste of espresso enough. Highly recommended if you want to drink a nice coffee.

In addition to coffee, there was also an extensive menu of other drinks (beer, cocktails, juices) and breakfast, lunch, cakes, etc.

As the staff was very friendly as well, I can...

Konrad, located on Rue du Nord, remains a wonderful spot for a relaxed evening out. The café-bar exudes a cosy and warm atmosphere, perfect for catching up with friends or simply enjoying a quiet drink. There’s a great selection of beers on offer, catering to various tastes, which is always a plus!

The staff at the bar are friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. However, one small downside is the lack of savoury snacks later in the evening, which would be a nice addition to complement the drinks.

One of the things I particularly appreciate about Konrad is their forward-thinking policy on smoking. They introduced a no-smoking rule before it was even required by law in Luxembourg, which, in my opinion, makes the place even more appealing and earns them extra points!

Overall, Konrad continues to be a top choice for a cosy night out...

Our visit to this cafe was truly wonderful and inviting and had such a captivating vibe. With the cafe bustling, we found ourselves led downstairs to a cozy setting, where we relaxed on a sofa. The ambiance was pleasant and had beautiful interiors. Its like one of those cool cafes that you should go to. We decided on getting bruschetta and wine for ourselves. The bruschetta, a seemingly simple dish, literally turned out to be a revelation haha. Having never tasted authentic bruschetta before, we were surprised by its flavors. The garlic-toasted bread, salted and peppered, was topped with a delightful mix of tomatoes, cheese, and olives. Paired with the wine, it made for a truly lovely dining experience. This delightful experience was complemented by the warm and welcoming staff, always wearing smiles. :)

Konrad is the place where you still find a few people in a cold november day. They offer various cakes, vegetarian sandwiches, other kind of sandwiches, home made tea and interesting brand drinks you don't find in the other locations. Despite the small place on two floors, somehow you can obtain a private conversation. Personel is nice, you order only at the bar but they do come with your order at the table afterwards. It's always full of people so, you will have difficulties to find a table without reservation. They offer two simple bathrooms, Free wifi, many people come with their laptops, charging locations. They organize concerts, shows. Atmosphere: cosy, two bars one underground where you can serve very few drinks and a main bar with a menu upstairs.
