I recently had the pleasure of dining at The First Floor in Luxembourg's charming Old Center, and it was an exquisite experience from start to finish. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the Pigeon Wellington – a culinary masterpiece made with wild pigeon. The flavors were rich and perfectly complemented by the chef's skillful preparation.

Please go here! We need more places like this in Luxembourg where talented chefs can showcase their skill and with beautiful local ingredients in a relaxed atmosphere. The menu changes monthly which is super exciting so if you are going to be grumpy and not get something to be expected don’t complain and ruin this awesome place for the rest of us.

I had the boneless chicken wings which had a perfect balance of char, creamy and acidity a perfect mounthful! If you are however a stickler for continuity they have one outrageously good dessert on the menu the charred brioche, soaked in sour caramel with cream and roasted hazelnuts - this is literally the reason I had to come to the internet to write a review about this outrageously delicious dessert. I’m not one for desserts but this thing is mindblowing.

The food prices are also genuinely reasonable for what you are getting. One small piece of feedback would be to add one or two more affordable red wines per bottle to the menu as 75 Euros entrance point...

But what truly sets the first floor apart are their cocktails. They have the best cocktails in the country, hands down. The "Only Fans" cocktail, in particular, was a standout. It was a perfect blend of unique flavors that made it both refreshing and irresistible.
