TLDR: I came to Flying Solo one day with 0 expectations. Safe to say, I can trust Flying Solo with my heart.

I’ve been there 3 times. My lattes were made by 3 different baristas and they were consistently good. I’m no coffee connoisseur, but I appreciate the flavour profile of their beans. They make their own pastries daily, so I didn’t have to worry about stale pastries that had been cooped in the cooler too long. And their pastries were excellent. Plus point, their baristas were ACTUALLY friendly and welcoming. Not your usual “I’m just doing my job” kind of mundane welcome. I’d treat myself monthly and spend my money on a Flying Solo coffee, rather than any other cafes. I’ve tried lattes from other cafes, including some that offered specialty coffee, but none was as pleasant as...

Caveat here; they get 5 stars cuz it’s in Melawati. 4 ⭐️if they were located elsewhere.

The place is a super cozy and nice. Very minimal and rustic, with a nice view of the quartz ridge on a non hazy day.

The desserts here all look good. We had the banofee pie (such a rare treat) and will try the cinnamon bun the next time we are back.

So the earlier mention of why they get a 5, it’s because as one of the many cafes in Melawati, their coffee /food & environment is all good. So it’s relative I suppose.

My only gripe is you are paying full premium price for a white. The cup is a tad too small, qty is sacrificed. - but the cup is a nice ceramic cup.

Not for oldies, cuz they are a flight...

I've been to this coffee shop twice now. The service is excellent, the barista is friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is great.

The coffee is also wonderful. I've tried a few different drinks, and they've all been delicious. I especially love their lattes, which are made with fresh, locally-roasted coffee beans.

One of my favorite things about this coffee shop is the black cat that hangs out at the entrance.

If you're looking for a great cup of coffee and a friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend this coffee shop. You won't be...

The worst cafe that I’ve ever encountered. Was ask to wait for 30mins for a pizza but after one hour still didn’t get the pizza. And when pizza arrived it shocked me that the pizza was burnt n the dough not even cook 😡👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 highly not recommended to visit. Initially was to dine in but we hv to request for take away due to time constraint after waiting there for an hour. Real waste of time. Pictures enclosed look at the pizza 😤
