If you're looking for the latest attractions in Kundasang, you should definitely check out Anooh Coffee. It's a great spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or dessert while taking in the breathtaking view of Mount Kinabalu. The cafe is conveniently located right by the road, and there's ample parking available, though you might need to park on the side of the road at times.
When it comes to food and drink, Anooh Coffee offers a variety of options. Their drink prices are reasonable, ranging from RM8 to RM10. If you're not into coffee, don't worry; they have tea and local drinks too. Plus, if you're interested in shopping for local products, they've got you covered.
During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying out their French toast, curry puff, cookies, chocolate ice cream, and three different types of drinks, and they were all delicious!
One suggestion for improvement would be to consider adding a breakfast menu in addition to their current offerings. When I visited, food choices were a bit limited, especially in the morning. We arrived early, hoping for a hearty breakfast, but had to wait until 11 am for the Tuk Tuk restaurant to open to satisfy our hunger.
If you're planning to bring small children along, please keep an eye on them while on the platform, as the fence is a bit sparse. Also, it would be great if they could address the fly issue soon.
Since it's the school holiday season, this place is buzzing with visitors! To make your experience smoother, I'd recommend coming in the morning or during off-peak hours. Keep in mind that seating and tables can be limited, and if it gets crowded, be patient as your order might take a bit longer. I noticed that they have fewer than 10 employees, so it might take a little extra time during busy periods. 😊👍
Wishing Anooh Coffee all the best in their future...
Read moreLucky to catch them as soon as they open to have all my perfect photos n vids. Views, atmosphres and service is an easy 5star but foodwise hmm. Apart from their limited of choices, the price is a bit expensive considering the taste. We ordered Hazelnut Latte (14.00), Tenom O (4.50), Lemonies (7.00), Plain Butter Croissant (12.00) and a Nasi Lemak Kosong (7.00). The croissant ws not fresh, tasted like its been there for 1 or 2 days, the layers which is supposed to be flaky and crumbly ws super gummy and we ended up not eating it, n passd it back to them to 'present' it to their vendor. Drinks is so-so but still a bit pricy, nasi lemak is just a normal nasi lemak kosong with ikan bilis n telur still is super overpriced, while lemonies is ookay i think. In less than 30minutes the place ws packed with locals n tourist, most probably bcause ths is one of the few cafes that open as early as 630am. My 1st time visit hre and with their offer of views, atmosphre, services and food my early personal review will be 'not enough to make me cme back but mayyyybe naanti will' but with the 'do not feed strays' sign, yepp definitely its a no...
Read moreA place you can get a cup of coffee with magnificent view ( if you are lucky with the weather).
Okay lemme list down the rating from my personal POV:
Coffee : 1.5/5 slightly expensive for a fully automated coffee machine. Taste average where you can get similar taste from 3in1 , wish they have a proper semi automated or fully handmade barista coffee. It will be a perfect pair sip with a view!
Food: 3/5 mainly cakes, cookies and brownies. All homemade but it was okay. Weekend they serve special local delights which is linopot. Price slightly higher for the locals nearby but it’s understandable with current economy.
Ambience: 4.5/5 not your average kind of coffee shop, the view and the chilly weather is to die for especially during great weathere! Some angle from the coffee shop can be picture aesthetic! Don’t afraid to play around if you have the chance to get all the place by your self! A bit crowded during weekends so plan your visit!
Overall is a full potential cafe! . Just that is such a turn off for the coffee :( for a coffee lover. If they are willing to upgrade it to handmade barista coffee everything...
