Nulu View Cabin — Hotel in Borneo

Location, few kilometer from the Pekan Kundasang, easily notice the Nulu View signboard.

The road towards my room is quite steep, but it's cemented road, no problem for my proton persona. It's not too high, maybe less than 300meter from the entrance main road.

My car parking is right in front of my room, so it's safe for my car. Easy for me to carry my things from car to my room.

My room is quite new based on the interior and the room finishing. I'm impressed that they use a quality brand beddings. The bed is very comfortable. Fresh linen smell. No dust or any dirts in bathroom and room areas. Good amount of inside and outside lightings. Perfect water pressure from the tap, and the water heater was well function.

Basic amenities is available for me such as hair dryer, iron board & iron, soap & shampoo, basic eating cutlery, dish soap, water kettle, rice cooker. And it's new and a good brand. They really pay attention on the quality of their items.

The view is everything that I'm looking for. Mount Kinabalu and the hillside view is right in front of my private balcony. I spent my time a lot sitting at my room balcony, enjoying my hot drink , cold and fresh air with the majestic view. At night, it can be quite foggy. I'm quite happy that they is not bugs or mosquito enter my room eventhough i open my sliding door almost all the time at day and night.

The ambiance is really peaceful. No loud music, no vehicle noise , only the nature sounds that really peaceful and serene.

Overall, my experience is beyond my expectation. I'm so happy and looking forward for another stay...

Had a 2 nights stay there. Apart from the magnificent view of Mount Kinabalu, the rest were just terrible. Rushed check-in (under heavy rain) and confusing sign to parking. Missing a few check-in information (since it was done in a rush). The room was very basic. The water heater was fine but the room was not kept clean. Had over 30 beg bugs bite and had to see a doctor after the stay. Not sure when the last time the mattress was cleaned properly. Do not bring food as the ants would attack, which happened to us. Minimize opening the balcony door or else you will have flies and mosquitoes joining in the room. Wear something thick to sleep as the thin blanket was not helping if it was cold. The room was small and 2 chairs and one table stool were provided. Not much space to walk around even with 1 medium luggage bag. A fan was provided but no heater or sort. Security was lacking as there was no latch to the door. There was a window on top of the door so not much privacy either. The entire room was very dated and needed serious refurbishment. Parking was limited for the number of rooms available but we were lucky as it was not a peak season. Oh, there was a common kitchen but basic tools were available (no microwave, sadly). This will be my last stay here despite the great view as I had trauma...

We chose Nulu View Cabin as our 3d2n stay place for our Kundasang trip. The view was magnificently stunning! It was raining during our trip, the temperature can fall down to 12 celcius up here. Please make sure your car is okay and serviced because the car park area is up in the hill. You may need to hike using your car, very tinggi. Before checking in, the receptionist will remind you at the WhatsApp. Please major check your tyres and brakes, safety first! The house we chose was so minimal, ery hygiene. They provide tv, 1 katil queen, 1 katil single, wall fan, toilet, towels, blankets, chairs, dine table, rice cooker, water heater, coffee, creamer and sugar. You need to check in at the receptionist at the Block C if im not mistaken. They will give you house key and got workers guided you where to park. The workers are very helpful, they help us to bring our luggage to our house. They give us umbrella to borrow also bcs raining and you need to hike all the way from your car park to your house.
